Wear over 8 years forming skills to many professionals from all sectors and from multinationals to small family businesses and this question I do every time I finish one of my programs or courses. Has this really served some?
Leadership, team management, communication, emotional intelligence and time management, are the skills that I have taught over past thousand years as a professional.
I sincerely believe that the courses we offer are excellent for dynamic, conocimientos y herramientas que se llevan los participantes. Sin embargo no podemos tener lo ojos cerrados y sabemos perfectamente que una empresa no nos contrata para que los directivos y mandos intermedios tengas más conocimientos, but to improve their results. Through what?? Evidently, through improving their skills, known soft skills.
I sincerely believe that a program, por muy extraordinario que sea, however you want to do practical, itself, has very little impact on the company-level results.
Humans have a high resistance to change
Simply because humans are creatures of habit and have much resistance to change. True, some more than others, but the reality is that change very slowly and the tools and techniques taught in these courses are extremely innovative and therefore, require a mental plasticity that can hardly happen in a couple of days of training, programs even in a year.
But then how can you implement everything I learned?
In my experience, without personal support through an experienced executive coach, It is very difficult to cale in a simple training attendees over 5% of the absorbed. However, through a process of coaching or even better, with a system like the shadow-coaching coupled with good training, the impact on the person can be between 30 and 50%, as the coach works directly with the actual work of the participant, not only on theory or practical training exercises.
If you are HR and you're thinking about developing executives and middle managers, thinking about quitting the game for coaching or group coaching program within your, to integrate what they have learned at work everyday and that training is not left at the end in a lot of perfectly bound sheets or in a file in a folder on the hard disk password.
