On the first point, the study reveals that leadership development requires a comprehensive approach that combines diversity of actions and solutions. My personal experience good correspondence to the study's findings, as managers we work with usually very high value individual coaching and team coaching, and the actions that promote learning through experience, simulation as a business or a sporting.
